Boat excursions along the Costa Viola, that stretch of coast that includes four municipalities, from Villa San Giovanni to Palmi. The name Costa Viola was attributed to this stretch of the Calabrian Tyrrhenian coast by the philosopher Plato who thus described this stretch of sea:

"Everything is tinged with purple, giving life every evening with its spectacular reflections to an ever new vision"

being struck by the shades that the Tyrrhenian Sea, Aspromonte and the surrounding area takes on during sunset.

The Purple Coast is also home to many myths and legends that have fascinated scholars, travelers and writers.

Scylla is undoubtedly the flagship of the Costa Viola. Much appreciated for its magnificent sunsets, crystal clear sea, Piazza San Rocco, a panoramic terrace that offers a unique spectacle overlooking the Strait of Messina and the Aeolian Islands in the distance and the famous Fisherman's Village, Chianalea.
